One thing guests enjoy more than a reason to dress up, is an opportunity for a great photo in their elegant attire. However, not everyone is skilled in how to actually get that perfect portrait. Photobooths are always a guest favorite activity, but a goofy photobooth strip isn't necessarily the kind of picture you want framed on your wall. Portrait Lounge combines the core function of a photobooth (photos for your guests), your goals as a host (entertaining your guests by providing an exclusive experience) and their own desire of getting that perfect shot.

Your guests got all dressed up to celebrate with you, they want portraits too!

Elevate your event experience with this mobile studio portrait service and give your guests a favor they'll share immediately and keep forever.

Laughter vs Legacy

Photobooth vs Portrait Lounge

While they appear similar on the surface, the experiences and final products are distinctly different and serve separate purposes. A photobooth is primarily meant to entertain your guests and be something they can return to throughout the night over and over again. Portrait Lounge does offer your guests an activity to do, but more as an exclusive studio experience. You and your guests are welcome to return to the Lounge again for different photos or pairings, but they will be more intentional with who they want a formal portrait with. The ultimate goal of Portrait Lounge is to offer your guests not only the experience of being posed and photographed by a real photographer, but the gift of a beautiful portrait they will love.

Should I have a photobooth, Portrait Lounge, or both?

Portrait lounge is a place for your guests to connect with a real person, receive personalized posing guidance, and get that perfect shot, whereas a photobooth is a self-serve, fast-paced activity. Think of  "lounge" as a place you come to be served, instead of serving yourself.
